TRUST THE FREEDOM

"It is so easy to be distracted. Any
kind of pain, misdirected desires, some odd noise off in the corner designed
to make us afraid, can turn our attention. It is so difficult to
decide for yourself what is really important when there are so many voices
shouting around us, clambering for our attention. Here is where I come
to when the distractions get too loud. "God is love, and that anyone
who loves is born of God.' Love is like a hot knife going through
butter. No matter who you are, what your life is like, you still are
looking for Love. We learn how to give Love away when we receive it.
We do not now, nor will we ever deserve this mystery. But, we are
loved. When we quit the pointless assignment of deserving or earning
it, we are free to see others and give them the same grace. Painting
sets it all aside for me. I enter a place where there are no pressures
or demands. A place of rest..."
